VERVE

  • 13–14 November 2026 · Time to be announced

VERVE is Nisadya's undergraduate communication challenge for individuals. Its three rounds test how well you think, adapt and persuade under pressure, while the task keeps changing.

Round 1, Cryptic Marketing (online, Unstop): a puzzle and crossword round of clues, wordplay and lateral-thinking questions built on marketing ideas. It is an elimination round.

Round 2, Marketing vs Demarketing (offline): you switch, again and again, between selling a product and killing demand for it, with no time to plan. Judging is on how fast and how convincingly you shift.

Round 3, Debate (offline): the finalists debate a marketing or business topic. Defend an assigned position and answer live counter-arguments from opponents and judges. Judging covers argument structure, persuasion and composure under cross-questioning.

Rules:

  • One registration per person.
  • Rounds 2 and 3 are in person on the NIT Trichy campus.
  • Plagiarism or unfair means in Round 1 means disqualification.
  • The format and rules may change before the event. The judges' decision is final.
