CAMPUS QUEST

Campus Quest is an undergraduate treasure hunt across the NIT Trichy campus. Solve puzzles, crack clues and race to the treasure. Time counts, so think on your feet.

Round 1, Cipher Rush (online): puzzles, riddles, visual clues, cryptic questions and lateral-thinking problems. Scores are on correct answers, with time taken as the tie-breaker. The top-scoring teams go to Round 2.

Round 2, The Treasure Trail (offline): qualified teams come to the campus, get a small map and follow a chain of clues across different places, with small tasks on the way. The round lasts about 2 hours. The first teams to find the treasure in time win, and teams that run over rank below those who finish.

Prizes: Rs. 2,000 for first place and Rs. 1,000 for second.

Registration is on Unstop. It opens when the Unstop page goes live and closes on 17 October 2026.

Rules:

• Team members cannot change after registration closes.
• Round 1 must be done within the time window. Late answers do not count.
• Only shortlisted teams take part in Round 2, and every member must be present.
• Phones are not allowed in Round 2. Use the map you are given.
• Follow the clues in order. Do not skip a checkpoint.
• Stay inside the hunt area. Restricted areas are out of bounds.
• Respect campus property, staff and other teams. Damaging or removing property means disqualification.
• Do not share clues with other teams. Any malpractice means disqualification.
• The organisers' decision is final.
